For crib safety and the safety of your new baby always use fitted sheets that fit securely on the mattress and wraps around the mattress corners. This is important because you do not want a sheet that can come loose and choke baby. You can also use the clips under the corners of the sheet if it is not fitted to keep the sheet in place around the mattress.
When babies are very young they do not move around too much, but as the months go by you will see how he/she starts moving around the crib and with them the sheets and bedding. Also, remove pillows and cuddly toys and any product not intended as infant bedding from the crib when putting your baby down to sleep. When you take safety precautions you can sleep well knowing your baby is safe and sound in his/her crib bed.
