When decorating your baby’s nursery don’t forget to dress the windows. This will bring the whole room together. Most baby crib bedding sets have coordinated window treatments that come with the set or that you can buy separately. You can usually buy the window valance, panels or both window treatments as to which you prefer.
Window treatments are good as accents or serve a purpose, such as keeping the light out in the daytime when baby is sleeping. If you don’t find window treatments that coordinate with bedding set then you can buy any that will accent it by using the colors of the bedding to tie in with the nursery.

When washing baby’s clothes you should pay special attention to use a mild detergent that is dye, and fragrance free so it does not irritate baby’s skin. Wash clothes on a cold cycle to help eliminate the risk of building up bacteria as well as keep the clothes from shrinking. You can also run the clothes through an extra rinse to make sure all the detergent has been washed out. And lastly don’t put dryer sheets in the dryer as this may cause skin reactions to baby’s delicate skin.
Choosing the wall color is an important part of decorating your baby’s nursery. The wall color set’s the overall ambiance of the room. You can choose bold or soft colors to dramatically change the appearance of any nursery. You also don’t have to limit yourself to the traditional pink for a girl and blue for a boy because there are so many more choices out there.
The best place to start is with the crib bedding set. This should always be one of the first purchases you make before decorating the nursery. When you have this take a look at all the colors on it, this includes the main color and all the accent colors in the design. Now, pick out one of the accent colors and use this for the wall color because it will make the color pop from the crib bedding set.
